That's just typical for you. Cant even deliver an Express Post Parcel on time either. Big fail.  3

Australia Post - Hi Adrian, not all express post items have the same next day time-frame, and if your item was going to a rural or non-metro area it's possible that 3 -4 days is the fastest we can get something there. I'd be happy to review your parcel and advise what's occurred and check the delivery times to see what can be done. Please just private message us your address and the tracking details for further assistance. - April

I'm waiting on an Express Post parcel, it was sent Thursday 16th May, I got a notification this morning saying it wont arrive till Monday 27th. So much for paying the extra to get it delivered early. Sat in a Brisbane post office for 3-4 days before they decided to move it on. Australia Post's level of service has gone to the dogs. I receive and send a lot of products through the mail, I can tell you from experience, it's absolute s***!!!!  2

I've got one item using the Standard Service, that was ordered after the Express Parcel was sent (from same place) and it's going to arrive earlier than the Express Post parcel. Good level of service???? I don't think so.
I was allowing 4-5 days for delivery, not 10-13 days for an Express delivery. Don't worry, I might pay a fortune and go via a courier service from now on. I cant rely on Australia Post to handle my mail and deliveries. Cant expect to be delivered on time if it sits in a Brisbane Post Office for 3-4 days either. But Brisbane isn't your worst, I found Sydney to be the worst at passing items on. Had one Express item, spent 5 days in a post office before I made enquiries about it.

Mandee Fischer they have lost my last two parcels. First one they just said, oh but the driver said he delivered it. And that’s it. Honestly they are hopeless. I’d say there is a new driver in my area and must be dodgy, my neighbours are saying the same. Such a shame that a company hires such people.  2

Australia Post that’s mean the delivery guys didn’t do their job properly then. Instead of knocking on the doors and try to deliver the parcels, all they did was dropping the collection card in the mail box and left. I was at home all day waiting for the parcels. Ending up I have to go to the post office at least 3 time last week to pick 3 different parcels. I am in Keysborough. Not very happy!

I just heard my doorbell so went to the door to see who it was. I could see no one but a van in my driveway. The shrubs preventing me from seeing it more clearly. It could have been anyone. Possibly intent on harming me. I am a disabled person and therefore vulnerable. I called out to the man already getting into his van. What do you want. He calls back (does not pause in getting back in his van) in a barely intelligible voice that I had to get him to repeat a couple of times. That there was a letter under the mat. He did not identify himself at all but I am sure when I finally get to see the letter, when someone comes to my door that I can ask to get the letter out from under the mat where I cannot get it, that it will declare itself as having been delivered by Australia post. Why oh why was it put under my mat and not in my letter box?  1

I am writing to complain about a service that Australia Post advertises but is unable to provide. As I am taking out a new mortgage, I need my identity verified by Australia Post. I visited two Australia Post branches today, 14th May 2019, and despite providing all the certificates/documentation* required the staff at both branches were unable or incapable of processing my documentation. *(1) Australian driver’s licence, (2) Full birth certificate, (3) Medicare Card, (4) Marriage Certificate I first visited the Nuriootpa Australia Post Branch but was unable to have my identity verified as I did not have an Australian Birth Certificate. This was despite pointing out that under Category 3 it only states a Full Birth Certificate is required not an Australian Full Birth Certificate. Secondly, I visited the Tanunda Australia Post Branch and got past the issue with the Birth Certificate but was declined due to the fact that the dating system on my Marriage Certificate did not match the systems dating system. As I provided all the documentation necessary as outlined in the Land Title Identity Verification Form and was declined, could you please tell me how I am able to get my identity verified?  1
1 week ago
Australia Post - Hi Melanie. I'm very sorry to hear you're having this issue as having your ID verified should be a straight forward and easy process, and I'm not sure why our retail staff would have rejected your request if you had all the correct documents ready. I can see we're speaking with you over private messages to discuss this, and what other options we can provide you further. We’ll continue further communication there as we will likely need more information to assist. – April
1 week ago
Australia Post Thank you for your response. I agree the process should have been simple and straightforward. But given that I attempted this at two different post offices, this would suggest that staff need significant up skilling or Australia Posts computer system is faulty or deficient. I’m sure you will be able to verify with both Post Offices that I had the documentation as outlined on form and I have scanned copies of these. I look forward to Australia Post resolving this issue.

Aus Post, I've been waiting for you to come back with the outcome of an investigation regarding a parcel that I never received - even though I was at home on the day and didn't hear a doorbell or receive any letter for collection - and you came back to me, later than you stated, with a response saying "the driver is unable to recall the specifics" of delivering a parcel I was meant to sign for. After replying to your email, reiterating how that reply is completely unacceptable, I get an auto response saying my case has been resolved. Case number is 24938319. Please let me know how this will actually be resolved. Ironically, I ordered this for Mother's Day...  1

Ken - As I understand it, the issue in this sort of situation is that Aust Post relies upon the sender to complain, not the intended recipient. This is because Aust Post views the sender as the "owner" of the mail, the person with the largest stake in the matter. So, in order to get action, the sender needs to lodge a complaint with Aust Post or, if Aust Post won't act, with the Postal Ombudsman.

Australia Post delivered a parcel to the wrong address. They know where it is and were in contact with the recipients. They are taking no action to retrieve the item. = theft or mail tampering. Not cool Australia Post, not cool.

If you lose our parcels you should at least credit the postage cost which you have refused to do every single time i have asked. you can say you will look into it and yoru sorry but ive been hearing this for years from Auspost and not 1 thing has changed or improved. we have been using au post for over 20years for our business and we have decided that next week we are using a different courier company. we have given you millions and this is how we are treated. if the CEO or anything higher up knew about the treatment we have had over this time i'm sure thigns would get better but this will never happen. We are going to be tlaking about this on 3AW Radio tomorrow morning, please tune in.

What a rip off you guys are. Waited in all day for a delivery - check my mail box at 4pm "We tried to deliver...blah blah". No you didn't, I was in ALL DAY. This happens every time with Aus Post - now I have to go and pick it up. This NEVER happens when using FedEx - never. But it happens 100% of the time with Aus Post. You should be ashamed of the service you supply.  2

The sad reality when an urgent parcel can safely make its way from Saint Louis, Missouri USA all the way to Burleigh Heads, yet cannot make its way safely to my front door in Currumbin Waters. Tracking says it has arrived and yet ... no parcel. 😢 We are also still waiting for two wedding invitations, that we know were sent from Brisbane to the correct address, which didn't arrive either in the past year. Something is starting to get a little suspicious. Sadly, our bills all still arrive right on time. You are welcome to lose some of them if you want? 😂  1

Australia Post could help make mother's day special by giving the gift that everyone in Australia longs to get. An efficient, affordable, fast postal service. Like Australia once used to have. Mother's day would be so much better if deliveries that used to take three days didn't take 2-3 weeks like they do now!  12

Australia Post - We're happy to respond to you publicly, Clinton, we only request that you send us your personal details privately for obvious reasons. I've just checked our system and can see that your address and the others in your area only receive 'Road Side Delivery' service. What this means is that you'll get deliveries for letters and small parcels not requiring a signature which can also fit in your letterbox. Everything else will be carded for collection directly from the local post office. It's just part of living in a rural or regional area I'm afraid. - Nick

Australia Post - Hi Clinton, Whether safe drop is available or not is not determined by post code. It's based on the specific address and whether or not there is a suitable safe location, usually near the front door where a delivery driver can leave a parcel if no one is home. Some rural addresses don't receive deliveries to the door and have a Roadside Delivery service. In these cases there may not be a safe place to leave a parcel at that roadside location but if you do normally receive deliveries to your door then I would expect safe drop to be possible as long as there was a suitable safe place to leave a parcel. As Cat mentioned last week, please PM us your address so that we can look into this further for you. -Casey

Australia Post - Hi Sandy Thanks for reaching out regarding your parcel. There are a few different services with different pricing structures. You can find the different services at the following link https://auspost.com....elivery-times/#/ Our standard and express both include point to point tracking through to delivery with the option of gaining a signature at the time of delivery or extra cover for peace of mind. We also have tracked letter services which are cheaper depending on what you were posting. You are always welcome to ask the cheapest way to post something when in store to ensure you are getting what you need. -Candice

Because the Liberal Party, back in the days of Little Johnny Howard (AKA Mr Sheen), decided to first divide Australia Post up, and then finally sell it and clean up, just as they did when they sold Telstra. To do that, they have to first make it look like a gold mine. Originally the plan was to sell it to logistics company TNT. TNT operates the postal service in various countries, including the Netherlands, where it's current parent company FedEx is based. You, I, and the rest of Australia are the ones paying to achieve this. It will likely still happen eventually, they just got sidetracked with blaming everybody else for all the things they have destroyed. But have faith, they will not give up until absolutely everything is sold off and privatised. TNT basically is very good at doing what Australia Post is absolutely dismal at doing. The kids they employ here to operate this Facebook page won't have a clue about any of this, as they probably weren't even born then, and they also don't have access to this sort of internal Australia Post information. They just do as they are told and work off a script and a flow chart. :-) eg. If this happens, say that etc. etc. Go easy on them, they are just trying to earn a living like everyone else.

Australia Post has lost my parcel and it is impossible to track or receive a refund for the item. Both myself and your customer a commercial business have lodged complaints without any success. This is not acceptable. After the bad publicity recently showing how Australia Post handles our packages I would have hoped for better. 14 days Melborne to Brisbane and still not parcel or traceability when I ordered another item same day from the UK and I received it in 5 days. The response I received from Australia Post in response to my Complaint was appalling. Hannah closed the case even though she did and achieved absolutely nothing. Come Australia Post get your act together. Please sort this out. Update for Investigation - 24823653 Hi Danny Thanks for your patience while we’ve been looking into the enquiry you made for parcel W2L000496501000930303, that you’ve been expecting to receive. I’m pleased to confirm that the sender of your parcel has now made contact with us, which allows us to finalise this enquiry. This case will now be closed as we continue our investigation directly with the sender. We have all of the details and case history required to help resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We’ll respond to them with the outcome and any next steps. In the event that the parcel is lost, please speak to your sender for further assistance I hope that this information has helped. Please contact the sender for any further enquiries regarding this parcel. Regards, Hannah R Australia Post ref:_00D301GGce._5002v2JiHoo:ref  1

Australia Post I have sent a second email tonight. I had a long conversation with an Australia Post representative 2 weeks ago when this happened previously and went into great detail, the front door is absolutely unseen from the street. I have my groceries delivered regularly and left at the front door. In the last month I have had 2 courier deliveries with rather large household items, also left at the front door. I explained all this to the Australia Post representative and she eventually agreed that yes, I was right and she would either speak or notify the delivery driver that items should be left.

I On Tuesday the 24th of April. At 13.47.08 precisely I had a parcel of books tossed over a 6 foot high fence! The parcel was only wrapped in medium grade cardboard and was sent from the UK by the Book Depository. The value of the books is 48 dollars! I am a pensioner and I can’t afford to replace the books again. At the time the parcel was tossed over the fence it was raining. It had been raining intermittently all day and continued to rain even more after the delivery, I was not aware there had been a delivery. usually when parcels are delivered, the postie brings the items to the veranda where they are protected from the elements, I am very disappointed in the sheer disregard of my books. The episode was recorded on my CCTV so there is no dispute or discrepancies on the facts. I will be seeking a full reimbursement of the cost of my books.. The books were soaked, one was so badly soaked I could not pick it up in one piece the second one is not much better but badly spoilt. The two books were to be gifts for my two nieces who live in Melbourne. I am travelling there in May. Even if I ordered the books again I would not receive them in time of my departure. I am really cross with the postie and his disregard for my parcel. The man was too lazy to get of his bike and take the parcel to a safer place a thirty second walk. The mind boggles at peoples disrespect and blatant stupidity.. everybody knows that cardboard and rain do not mix! And tossing a parcel over the fence to boot.  1

Australia Post - Hi Leanne, thank you for reaching out to us. I can assure you that we do everything we can to ensure your items are delivered within the estimated delivery dates however when transiting millions of items on any given day, it is likely that some may have delays. If this item or any others you are expecting have exceeded the estimated delivery date please feel free to PM us the tracking number and we can investigate the matter further for you - Delilah

Simon Hill they usually get it there in less than half that time (their calculator says 3-5 days) and I love just outside of Brisbane who sends stuff to my dogs breeder and she gets it in about that time frame. When you think of organ transport, most people would assume this is done by an Ambulance - but our humble Posties are quietly helping to save lives behind the scenes.

As part of the StarTrack Next Flight team, Tammy plays a vital role in the transport of live human organs across Australia. In honour of #WorldKidneyDay here's a glimpse behind the scenes.

Our special thanks to Qantas, the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Austin Health for helping us to tell this story #PeopleofPost #DonateLife

Australia Post - Hi Peter, I can certainly understand any concerns you may have with any delays. With international items we do have to work with the border authority both here and overseas to ensure the item is delivered. We'd happy to take a look at the tracking details to see what's happening. Please private message us here with the tracking number at: m.me/australiapost We look forward to your PM. Rosita

what an extremely arrogant statement Peter Mason these are serious services Australia post are doing and they are well aware there is a necessity for increased postal delivery, sometimes it annoys me that people take Australia for grated we get great free healthcare, great services of high quality, clean air in most places, highest wages and relatively peaceful quality of life, I've traveled to south america and various parts and we are very fortunate, in some of these countries the postal services would be nearly non existent.  1
10 weeks ago
Probably delayed due to Victorian fires.

Peter Mason agreed. Yes this is a great cause, yes it's admirable, no doubt about it. But considering Australia Post history with my parcels... personally I wouldn't trust them.

Australia Post Hi Rosita, I have a couple of examples for you, tracking numbers 2MB7661013, 33FV57601000930305, both took 6 days from Sydney, went onto your tracking site to check tracking ,said was picked up , no more tracking until it was delivered ,last week I ordered auto parts from OHIO USA, got mess today saying will be delivered today, by FedEx,that’s 6 days, not trying to start a fight just giving you an example . Cheers Pete

Australia Post - Hi Marlene, I can appreciate it would be hard to apply for different identification cards when you may not have any current Photo ID. In saying that, you may be able to apply for one of our KeyPass Photo ID cards as long as you have enough documentation to verify your identity. A list of the required documents to complete a KeyPass application can be found by visiting https://auspo.st/2J0w0DO. - Nadia  2

Then currently Digital ID is not for you if you have not those identifications that are current and available. Australia Post - Hi Glenn, these are some really good questions and I can understand why a lot of people are confused about service changes, both in terms of prices and times. Probably the first thing to really consider is that, like every service or product, prices go up in time due to inflation - from petrol to bread and water. The post is no different in that respect and higher fuel and labour costs mean higher postage prices to offset those costs. Moving onto those 'black hole' distribution centres. Australia Post has seen a major decline in letters and a huge surge in parcels, small and large. Parcel volumes have increased every year for the past five years and its likely this trend will continue as online shopping is quickly becoming the most popular way to buy. Even Christmas in 2018 compared to Christmas in 2017 saw hundreds of thousands of more parcels than ever before. The system which got a letter from Hobart to Melbourne in two days would not have been able to keep up with the volumes we receive nowadays, and our network has had to change to meet modern needs. I understand that what you're seeing from the outside might appear like a higher price for a slower service, but the way we have evolved has reflected inflation, parcel volumes and national needs. At the end of the day our network doesn't have the ability to match other courier services, but our network also has the most extensive coverage in Australia and receives more parcels on average. Current costs, processes and delivery times are a reflection of what we are physically capable of achieving with the large numbers of parcels and mail we receive every day, at the most economical cost for the service. – April  1
12 weeks ago
Australia Post - I don't think that's a fair assessment Mick though I sincerely and greatly appreciate your engagement with us. We here in the social team and also the wider contact centre completely understand that we don't always get it right. Things go wrong but we're here specifically to help customer's out with anything that arises. If there is ever anything you need help with please let us know. Even if it's just a question about one of our services. We want to hear from you about anything to do with Australia Post that you need help with. - Nathan
12 weeks ago
I don't think it's a surprise that someone is not pleased, is it? 'Express' is now what regular post used to be a few years ago (premium price for overnight, not 3 damn days), and Regular post is now just 'haha, good luck'. I don't know what changed, but distribution centers seem to just be a black hole where things circulate for an extra week before anything happens. Back in the day you could post something from Hobart and it would get to Melbourne in 2 days tops, regular post.  3
12 weeks ago

Australia Post - Hi Trevor, At no point did I suggest that the customer should be paying more for tracking, I was confirming that it was not possible to explain what happened to this particular letter as it was an untracked item. We have let this customer down by taking an extra ordinary amount of time to get this letter across the country, something that should have taken around 6 business days. The last thing I wanted to do was further insult Sharon by not being 100% honest, and offering the likely cause, without ensuring that it was understood that this was my opinion, and not information based on evidence. If you have any issues or concerns of your own, please PM us all the relevant details, and we'd be happy to take a look for you. - Ian
11 weeks ago
Australia Post - Hi Sharon, Sorry that we have not responded as yet to your post, and for the card taking so long to reach your recipient. It is extremely rare and puzzling that an item would remain undelivered within our network for so long. I wish I could offer you an explanation, however without tracking there is no way to know for sure what happened to the card whilst in our care. The most likely way that this could have happened, is that the letter became caught up in one of the mail sacks, which was then not used again for four to five weeks, at which point the item was re-introduced back in to the mail system. I can appreciate that both you and the recipient would be upset by the time that this has taken, and I am sorry for any inconvenience caused. - Ian

Trevor Morgan it’s getting worse! Great explanation but still not happy that 2 children did not receive their Xmas present for 8 weeks. Yes of course they want us to spend more money and get it tracked BUT I can assure you that even spending top dollar to get it to people on time DOES NOT HAPPEN. Friends of mine sent tickets to a concert by registered post from Perth to Bridgetown 4 weeks before Xmas and they went to Collie then returned to Perth then sent to Bridgetown and they missed the concert. How bad is that?????
Sharon, what did you think of the response from A.P.?? I think is was a typical one. So they are saying without tracking it is hard to give an explanation as to what happened. So we now have to PAY for tracking on everything we post. Personal experience, they still lose mail. Even express Post.

My kids love them, teaching them they have to eat fruit/vegetables from each colour every day. Helps my 5 year old learn that variety is key. Just yesterday infact she was looking at what she had eaten & said "i need to eat some watermelon, I haven't had any red fruit today". At least it's helping children in regards to healthy eating & it's not 'just a collectable' with no real value.  1

My boys love Stikeez, and they still have their Little Shop collections on display in their bedrooms. They trade them with each other and with their friends. They bought themselves the Little Shop display cases with their pocket money, and they're doing the same with the Stikeez cases. As long as you teach your children the value of things, and to not be wasteful, then I do not see the problem.  1

I think it's a choking hazard for children  2
12 weeks ago
They're only a choking hazard for sea creatures if people dispose of them carelessly, and a choking hazard for children if you give them to children who are too young/unsupervised. And that applies to many, many things found in everyone's homes.  1
12 weeks ago
I mean, if you're worried about your child choking on a Stikeez, then don't have them in the home. It's pretty basic. The same way you don't leave other small/dangerous objects in reach of little ones.  1

These things do more harm to the environment than good.

Or sea creatures. Either way they are ugly

Australia Post, why are you endorsing the collectable campaigns?  2

Australia Post - Hi Allan, Please be advised that this is a family friendly page and we ask that people be respectful of each other and Australia Post staff. If you need any clarification on this, please review our Company Overview here: http://auspo.st/2b2j6TA Alice  4

Australia Post - Hi Rachel, Not an endorsement, just proactive messaging for safe transit of these items as we get a few in the mail stream every time. Ensuring we're looking out for everyone when attempting to send these as usually during the campaign we see a rise in standard letter posting and enquiries. Mikey  2

Australia Post You are still promoting it. Remove this post now.

Allan Curtis shut up.
A rise in standard letters? So it's not all doom & gloom then. Same as the huge increase in large letters, not included in recent figures to justify an increase in letter costs. Hmmmm
12 weeks ago
You shouldnt be encouraging this plastic wasting child targeting crapola.  1
12 weeks ago
Why the hell is Australia Post giving this any type of promotion? Shame.  1
12 weeks ago
They could have said, when posting any plastic, planet damning objects but no, they specifically promote the Coles latest stuff up. And now they've added Woolies! Good grief, have they no consumerism shame?
Because they cop the complaints when envelopes turn up empty...
Yes and they will be made a plastic of course and that will definitely be another big fiasko
12 weeks ago
Or dont collect them at all. Stupid waste of plastic

A train, in this day and age, we get our parcels by train, what a joke. No wonder I can get stuff from the US quicker!  12

Brett Jackson most of stuff from US will still go thru Auspost before you get it....  14

Ignorance is bliss. You wanna send you Li-Po batteries by air and dangerous goods by air to. Probably a flat earth believer.  13
13 weeks ago
Geez what do you expect, all freight sent domestically regardless of what country your in uses rail or road. Pay extra for express, then sent by air.  9
13 weeks ago
FYI , USA to AUSTRALIA goes by air, that’s normal, that’s why it’s quicker.  8

If past performances are anything to go by, your parcel will be on the train destined for WA 🤣🤣  3
13 weeks ago
Neil Allison the train that derail was not going to WA it is actually going to Sydney but their is other trains stuck either side of the derailed train  1
13 weeks ago
my package says it’s in Melbourne so why is it delayed??
Use the track number get quicker results then here
13 weeks ago
Neil Allison, that is as incorrect as the statement that the derailment is in Port Augusta, it did not occur in Port Augusta, it was some 200km to the west. Simple availavle facts. The derailed train was from Perth, to Sydney.
It says the train was bound for Perth.
